John Dees is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams and equipping them with the tools to be successful. As a former teacher and campus leader, John serves as a member of the AISD Leadership Development team where he prepares aspiring administrators for future roles and supports newly appointed leaders. Thirty current AISD principals are alumni of the Principal Preparation Program (P3) which he leads. John also plays a pivotal role in collaboratively designing and implementing principal and assistant principal assessment centers to facilitate more equitable leader selection practices. While he enjoys and regularly leads professional learning sessions, his favorite work is serving as a coach leader where he supports individual problem solving and personal reflection.
